The Arctic Fox is a fast, pack-oriented hostile entity that primarily inhabits the colder regions of 99 Nights in the Forest. While individually weak, Arctic Foxes become extremely dangerous when encountered in groups, making them one of the most frustrating enemies for unprepared players.

Artic Fox usually spawns in packs of 2–5, though solo spawns can occur. Snow Biome is its primary location. It can wander into the Forest biome also. Because of their pack nature, spotting one often means several more are nearby. Once you fall into their detection range, the fox will charge towards you. It will keep on chasing you until you escape its detection radius. Other Arctic Foxes can quickly group against you, which is lethal.

🦊How to Fight Arctic Fox?

Arctic Foxes have very small hit boxes. They are faster compared to wolves, which makes them dangerous and annoying. Plus, they will attack in groups. Upon killing, Arctic Fox drops the following items:

  • Morsel: 1-2
  • Pelt: 0-1

You can use the pelt to craft a Beanie, Arctic Fox Hat, and earn the Knitting badge. So here are some tips and tricks on how to fight and defeat Arctic Fox in 99 Nights in the Forest.

  1. Always pull and eliminate foxes one at a time.
  2. Use rifles or other ranged weapons to prevent pack swarming.
  3. Fight in open areas to maintain visibility and spacing.

Arctic Foxes’ attack range is very short. They will frequently overshoot when lunging. Always strafe sideways while attacking. Do not stand still, same combat method we use for wolves. It is always best to use obstacles that can slow them down.

When you spot one, do not rush into attacking the foxes. There are chances there will be more around. Also, look for ample open space so that you can run away to avoid serious damage. Keep healing items ready with you before entering snow zones.
