Bears appear later in the game. When you have rescued two kids. They are the strongest but slowest yet most lethal hostile entities in Roblox 99 Nights in the Forset game. Bears have high health, their attacks are strong, and they have a very long detection range. Bears have a high detection radius. They will wander until they see you. How to Fight Bears?
Once a bear detects a player, its attitude changes instantly. Bears will chase players relentlessly until the player either escapes the detection radius or is killed. When in close range, they will attack with heavy hits that can quickly drain health. After attacking, a bear may briefly retreat a short distance – but only to reset its attack animations, not to flee like passive animals.
Bears also react to your pets. If a bear is hit first by a pet, it will switch targets to the pet and remain focused on it until a player intervenes. Killing a bear will drop the following items:
- Morsel: 6
- Steak: 3–4
- Bear Pelt: 0–1
Bears also drop unique items when they serve as Guardian Bears inside a Locked Cave:
- Yellow Key: 1
- Grey Key: 1

- Revolver/Ray Gun will not work: These are weak weapons; you will need a stronger one. Tactical Shotgun is the best to which can cause maximum damage.
- Melee Combat: It is possible to kill a bear in melee combat. But for this, you will have to learn movement. Strafing sideways quickly will put you out of the attack range. Everything is about timing; make sure you do not stand in front of the bear during a fight.

Bear Traps:
Bear traps are one of the most effective ways to farm bears for meat and pelts or clear a cave area to accomplish objectives like rescuing NPCs.
- A bear will die after four hits from bear traps.
- When you purchase a bear trap from the crafting bench, it appears as a blueprint on your hotbar.
- In a group scenario, one player can distract and lead the bear through traps while a second player resets them.
- When playing solo, place four traps in a 2×2 square pattern. Aggravate the bear and lead it through the traps.
- After a trap is triggered, the bear can be dragged to a new location using standard dragging mechanics.
Smart placement and trap resets allow for efficient bear farming with minimal health loss. Always fight bears in open space,s and if there is more than one, then run. You will need healing items and a stamina booster for speed and recovery. It is best to avoid taking pets with you unless you have more than one Alpha Wolf.
