As you survive more nights, new hostile animals will enter the game. Alpha Wolf is one of them. It is one of the most dangeiorus entity in the Roblox 99 Nights in the Forest game. Alpha Wolf is an advanced variant that can cause significantly more serious damage, has high health, faster and longer detection range. It is a constant threat during the mid-to-late game exploration.
Because of its speed and awareness, many Roblox players consider Alpha Wolf as one of the most annoying enemies. So here is a detailed guide on how to deal with Alpha Wolves in 99 Nights in the Forest.
🐺 How to fight Alpha Wolves?
As they are hostile and have more power, their attacks are predictable. The goal here is not get engaged with more than one Alpha Wolf at a time. It is also refered as Ninja Wolf, as it can detect you instantly when you are close to its area. Alpha Wolves mostly roam around randomly, but as soon as a player enters their detection radius,s it will charge.
If it moves out too far, it will teleport back to the original location. Alpha Wolves mostly retreat after chasing at a short distance. This means they lose interest fast. If you have a pet, and it attacks the wolf, the fight between them begins. If the player intervene the wolf will leave the pet and attack you.
- Use strafe-circling:
- Move sideways while attacking.
- Never stand still.
- Hit between the wolf’s lung animations.
Grab a rifle or a long-range weapon. You will need enough ammo before you challenge a pack of Alpha Wolves. It is always necessary to maintain distance; challenging in open terrain can be lethal. Always use a shelter, like behind a tree or rocks. Any kind of obstacle will slow them down, so you can then easily plan your attack.
As you reach mid-late game, avoid staying out at night for long. Wolves will spawn around you, no matter where you are. Inside a cabin, or in a cave. There are chances that a whole pack of Alpha Wolves may spawn at once. Always carry healing items.
🪈How to Tame an Alpha Wolf?
It is not easy to tame an Alpha Wolf. It is extremely difficult but rewarding. You will need an upgraded version of Taming Flute here.
- Get a Good Taming Flute or Higher.
- Do not attack the wolf or cause any damage before taming.
Taming Process:
- Walk near the wolf slowly, keep the Good Taming Flute in hand.
- This will trigger the minigame; the wolf will not move.
- Once done, feed the following to the wolf.
- 1x Steak.
- 1x Mackerel.
- 1x Salmon
You have to repeat the entire process four times to fully tame an Alpha Wolf. That means you must carry 4x Steak, 4x Mackerel, and 4x Salmon in your sack. It is difficult, but an Alpha Wolf is a very powerful ally. It is best for crowd control.
Things to Avoid:
- Always tame during daytime to avoid ambush.
- Before starting to tame, clear nearby enemies.
- If you have pets, then make sure it does not attack the Alpha Wolf.
- Drop all the food first at a nearby distance, so that you can instantly pick and feed the wolf.
There must be no damage. Even one hit will block the taming process. If you can manage to tame two Alpha Wolfs you can release others. They are strong and can be a good guardian. Alpha Wolf has earned its reputation as one of the most hated and most dangerous entities in 99 Nights in the Forest.
